FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: engine contains disk valve with combustion chambers, nozzles, intake and outlet channels, cylinder block, output shaft and crankcase with sump. Cylinder block is solid, with vertical hole in center and pair of compression cylinders and pair of expansion cylinders of volume twice as large as volume of compression cylinders forming in combination the sides of vertical and adjacent angles of 72o and 180o. Pairs of compression and expansion cylinders are arranged crosswise axially parallel around hole in center. Solid pistons in compression and expansion cylinders arranged at one side of bisector of angle of 180o are in top dead centers and in cylinders at opposite side of bisector of angle of 180o are in bottom dead centers and are connected by rod parts to roller bearings installed on crank journals of planet pinions connected in pairs by sleeve coupling. Planet pinions are made with semicylindrical teeth of rim. One of said teeth of larger size is joined with crank journal in each planet pinion. Said semicylindrical teeth engage with tooth spaces of internal rim of fixed twice as great as rim of planet pinions and equal to piston stroke. Support solid journals projecting from center of end faces of paired planet pinions are fitted in bearing holes of semi-shafts displaced eccentrically through one fourth of piston stroke. Semi-shafts are furnished with crescent-shaped counterweights on inner end faces and gears on outer end faces installed coaxially on bearings on opposite sides of crankcase and forming, together with paired planet pinions, primary shafts of engine mechanically connected with gears secured on ends of output shaft arranged axially parallel between primary shaft. Middle part of output shaft is coupled with inner toothed rim of central hole of disks by means of pair of bevel gears, vertical shaft installed in central hole of cylinder block and gears. Over circumference coinciding with arrangement of holes in cylinder cover with intake and outlet channels arranged at ends of bisector of angle of 72o, and nozzles installed at ends of bisector of angle of 180o on cover of control valve housing, five combustion chambers of bicylinder shape are made in disks on arc of length of 36o, being equally spaces relative to each other communicating through holes in adjacent wall of bicylinder with volumes providing for them at least 19-fold compression ratio of air. Said volumes being in design agreement with hole in cylinder cover over expansion cylinder and with piston in bottom dead center of said cylinder to provide turning of disk at each piston stroke through 1/10 of revolution in direction towards bisector of angle of 72o from expansion cylinder.
EFFECT: increased thermal and mechanical efficiency of engine, reduced fuel consumption, improved reliability and provision of compact design.
